In Outlook, choose File > Account Settings > Manage Profile Accounts>Email Accounts. Select Change. Type the new password into the password field then select NEXT. Sometimes add-ins can conflict with Outlook.

If you have a new password, if your email provider has asked you to change your settings, or if you're having trouble sending and receiving email, you can change your email account settings through Mail or Outlook in the Windows Control Panel.
