21 lut 2024 · When the upgrade from Outlook (365) was auto uploaded today, I lost access to my gmails and my calendar (all future meetings were wiped out, too). A popup says "Sync your Gmail account". Please switch to your browser and sign in - return here when done.
Gmail does allow you to add your account to Outlook without setting up two-factor authentication and using an app password, but you must turn on a setting that allows "less secure apps" to connect to your account.

11 maj 2023 · To resolve this issue, I recommend you reach out to our dedicated support for new Outlook for Windows within your Outlook. The support team over there can remotely help you and collect logs. They can also involve more resources to investigate the issue from back end.

2 dni temu · My old gmail account continued to work on Outlook after Google apparently made this change a few months ago, but I had to delete the account temporarily from Outlook and now I am unable to add it back in. I am also unable to add new gmail accounts to Outlook. Is there a workaround for this problem?
