22 cze 2020 · I think I found the problem. I have an option on my mic for mono or 2 track. When 2 track is activated, the mic seems to randomly working while streaming, but working 100% fine in the recording file for the same session. When Mono is activated, so far, no more problem at all.

No sound in OBS is a completely different problem than what OP is having. You need to check your Settings/Audio and see what devices you have set up there. And/Or you need to set up each device in the Scene you are using. Click the + and select add Audio Input Capture (for mics) and Video Capture Device (for cameras etc that might have sound).

6 cze 2022 · Oftentimes, your mic isn’t working on OBS because it’s not plugged in properly, or it’s not even plugged in at all. Check the connection from the microphone to the USB port if both ends are connected properly.

So I did a bunch of things to try to fix the issue like try to update the driver (it's already the best version), made sure it was enabled in Sound Settings and via Device Manager, made sure OBS was selected as able to pick up audio, etc. but nothing has fixed the darn thing.
4 paź 2021 · Switching Audio Output Mode from the Elgato to Ouput Desktop audio (Direct sound) in the obsproperties of the Capturecard fixed the sound on the stream. Monitoring device in the settings is set to default. Last edited: Oct 4, 2021.
