The Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) oversees all driver and vehicle services in the state. To find the MI SOS office branch nearest to you, simply enter your zip code above or click on your county of residence below.

Visits may be scheduled up to six months in advance. To schedule your visit, go to Michigan.gov/SOS and select Schedule a visitor call 888-SOS-MICH (888-767-6424).
The SOS also has locations with special services, such as instant titles and even some self-service stations. Most branch locations are open on Wednesdays from 11am to 7pm and all other weekdays from 9am to 5pm. Some areas have smaller offices that close for lunch and some have SUPER!Centers that are open on Saturdays.
To provide critical services and protect public health, Secretary of State branches are open by appointment only for specific categories of transactions. If you need an appointment right away, check this site at 8 a.m. or noon EST.
