17 lip 2022 · The level lock terminal on the outside is for the relay to connect to my MKS DLC32 Spindle control. It’ll just be on off and should work well. For now, I’m just going to use the Dial on the Makita for speed control, however I might look into adding an RPM read-out to it, so I know what it’s set to.
17 lip 2022 · I decided to implement the Y axis upgrade on my standard size 3018. All details clear (will order 300mm lenght rails only), however wondering if the 2080 side increase is a must to have your setup - I mean the printed adapter & 2020 rail & MGN15H rails combo - will work smooth with standard machine hight as well?
31 maj 2024 · This upgrade assumes you already have the main components for a 3018 to 3040 upgrade. eg 3018 Pro to 3040 Upgrade; If you use 450mm Linear rails, you'll need the "End Block" If you use 500mm Linear rails, You'll need to cut them down - as they are hardened steel, you'll need a proper metal chop saw.

17 lip 2022 · Upgraded 3018 Pro using MGN15H Linear Rails and a 500w Spindle As an example, I finished my carbon fibre bed carriage last week, and the 0.3mm deep mounts are perfect in each corner.
