This step links your kit to your Ancestry® account. You can register your kit before (recommended) or after you mail your sample. Each adult taking the test needs their own account. Only one DNA kit can be registered per account, except for tests for minor children.
You can create a free Ancestry® account (also known as a Registered Guest account) by signing up with Google, Apple, or your email address. Create a free account or Choose a membership to continue.
To download your tree data, DNA Data, and personal account data, sign in to your account. Click your name or username in the top-right corner and select Account Settings > Download your data, then request the data you want.
