In Second Life, "curvy" meant a large ass, breasts but an impossibly tiny waist!! The male avatars tended to have huge shoulders and tiny waists too. People wanted this idealised "sexy" version of themselves. Maybe VR will be different and people will want to be represented in VR by more "realistic" body shapes. Who knows?
