Melissa Wei-Tsing Inouye (13 April 1979 - 23 April 2024 [1]) was an American senior lecturer in Chinese studies at the University of Auckland and a historian for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). She was an expert in the social and cultural history of modern China, charismatic global Christianity, and women and religion.
