Melissa will be remembered, I suspect, for the qualities that caught my attention the first time I heard her speak about ten years ago: her rare candor and compassion on the hard problem of Zion belonging across social division.

Dr. Melissa Inouye brought a singular voice and light to our discussions and was an audience favorite. She passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer.
