Mega Swampert definitely benefits from having a rain team to support it whereas Mega Sceptile works as a good way to fill an empty slot in a team that doesn't rely on its teammates as much. With the right team support I'd say Swampert but otherwise Sceptile.
Mega Sceptile is the best grass attacker in the foreseeable future (aside from future Shadow Kartana). Mega Blaziken is one of the best fire-type attackers, essentially tied with Mega Charizard Y (Blaziken has higher DPS but less bulk).
