For X3 Rhino or Buffalo are more fitting first choices, the former gives you the weapon that unlocks most collectibles and Buffalo gives you the leg upgrade. For X5 the boss order doesn't really matter after Grizzly due to C-Saber doing better damage to bosses then their actual weakness.
