NOTE As of 1.5.x Mega Man Maker no longer works in WINE, and simply crashes with the following message: Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x80004005 call: at line 226 in file \Graphics_DisplayM.cpp . I just downloaded current v1.6 and extracted the zip file and the provided .exe just started fine with WINE wine-4.0.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.
