First thing check to see if you have any mods installed, this problem has historically been triggered by mod conflicts. Something new could be going on though. If you have no mods installed do a quick reinstall or "verify integrity of game cache" in steam to see if that clears the issue up.
6 lis 2022 · This has been being caused by DLC status problems in Steam. Make sure you are not using a DLC unlocker and if so just uninstall it and the issue should resolve. Otherwise you can try switching to next-version-preview in the betas tab for the games steam properties then switch back.
26 kwi 2024 · What I did to fix it was to make a copy of my Mod directory (in Steam->steamapps->common->Fallout4), delete all of the manifest files in my current Mods directory, copy back the manifest files in my Mods-Copy file one by one with restarting the game after each copy to see if the MODS button now worked.
I am still subscribed for these mods and their contents are present in my Steam workshop sub-directory. I reinstalled the game, restarted the Steam several times and resubscribed for some of the mods but these methods didn't help. I don't know what else I can do.
12 lis 2015 · The launcher doesn't support mods yet, so you'll have to to do that manually. Hit windows+R, paste the following line and enter: %LocalAppData%\Fallout4\plugins.txt
27 lis 2020 · They're all installed seemingly correctly in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310, they are enabled in the launcher, and I am loading the correct mod preset. Mods from other sources work without an issue, it's just Steam Workshop ones.
Strangely, for me launching the game once in windowed mode (with border) fixed it. When I got to the main menu, I closed the game again, then relaunched it from Steam in fullscreen mode - smooth sailing from there.
