You should really try to watch season 2. You have Contessina in a few episodes and Marco Bello, played by the same s1 actors. Also, you have the characters of Piero and Lucrezia (and Lucrezia plays a big role) in season 2. They're just played by older actors as they're 20 years older now. But they are the same characters from s1.
