Rights. As our patient, you have the right to: Be treated with respect, consideration, and dignity. Appropriate privacy. Confidentiality of your medical records. Except when required by law, patients will be given the opportunity to approve or refuse the release of medical records.
Amends the Medical Patient Rights Act. Provides that each patient has the right to receive care from a medical professional who is culturally sensitive to the patient's life experience.
