One thing I noticed is that the MT7921 will always try to hang on to the highest speed while the Intel cards are constantly changing their transmit/receive rates. See below (using 802.11ac in this example, 866 is the max rate for 80mhz channels)
Just bought an ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage with the POS MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 wifi. Got it home - tried to do some updates and downloads - on speed test it maxed out at 3 Mbps down. My Phone gets 45 Mbps as does my other laptop and a MAC.

Another issue that im facing is that even when my laptop connects to the wifi either wireless of through lan, it shows connected but no internet, but im able to browse stuff on chrome, though the windows update or the store or epic games, nvidia geforce experience wont work and show no internet connection.
12 wrz 2022 · My Wifi device is a built in MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card, running on driver 3.0.1.1198. My Wifi AP is Fritz!Box 7530 running on Fritz!OS 07.29. My distance between Computer and Device is about 3 meters.
At the moment, I get about 160mbps from my room on my laptop with a Mediatek 7921 wifi card. However, from the same spot I get 240mbps from my Poco NFC phone. Does it mean I would get faster speeds with the Intel card or is it an antenna thing with my Legion 5?
