17 kwi 2022 · There are two types of textures for Armor. There is a set of four for the inventory graphics (golden_boots.png, golden_helmet.png, etc...). There is another set of two that is used for the wearable models (gold_layer_1.png, gold_layer_2.png). You probably only gave it the inventory textures.
5 mar 2021 · So I've spent a bit making custom textures for my mods bone armor, and for some reason when I select the texture and it shows up with everything, but when I save the mod element it gives me an error message "Armor needs to have a texture". f.
8 sty 2023 · You need to specify both textures of items for the armor parts you enabled on the first page and textures for armor layers on the second page.
15 lip 2022 · This is because Minecraft renders the texture like a normal armour and then the custom model, to avoid it, I usually create mi custom armour textures in a texture bigger than 64 x 64 px like 128 X 128 px and leave the first quarter ( up left) or the complete left half of the texture empty.

The armor only seems to have a layer texture. Does it have a texture for what you see in your inventory?
