The Macintosh has a magical midrange & tone and a laid back sound which is great match for Kef Refs and the kind of music I listen to.

My speaker's are known to have a major dip at around the 2khz-2.5khz range no matter what type of room it's in. Will the tone controls help solve this to justify the price difference over the MA7200?
