I've got two cards with MBNA, one I applied for direct, the other was one they took over from someone else and offers fee free FX and 0.5% cashback. Always pay in full each statement and never had a single issue with them.

The other 2 MasterCards I've got are both 19.99% - one Fido, one PC. I'm thinking of closing the Fido MasterCard account and replacing it with this MBNA one. Fido gets me cash back, but it is a super slow accumulation because I dont use it very often, and PC gets me points which I do use.
The solution is quite simple: every time you want to access that website search it in your search engine first - NEVER go to it from a saved web-address that you used before (no favorites, no pwd managers) or type it in the address bar manually: https://www.mbna.ca. I hope that helps 😉

It seems that they are now part of the lloyds group, but I have no idea if this offers any guarantees. So the question becomes, has anyone here ever dealt with MBNA, or had a loan with them, and if so, how was it, is it a save bet, or should I stay clear of them?
