15 mar 2008 · Speed clear that drys very fast but flows out decent. I've also sprayed MS47 which is pretty much the same but mixed 3-1-1. Has a High Gloss but drys extremely fast and is hard to spray with minimun orange peel but very hard to run.
13 paź 2021 · Many members here highly recommend SPI (Southern Polyurethanes Inc.) primers and clears. I personally use Matrix MS-42 clear due to a local supplier's recommendation. I use HC2104 Tamco clearcoat on most everything I spray. High solid clearcoat. Lays down nice,cuts and buffs easily and durable.

27 paź 2010 · As a jobber, their customer support is much better than PPG or Dupont, their warranty is as good or better, and their prices are much better. Their basecoats cover well, their paintmatch is equal or better than PPG, and the MS-52 clearcoat is as user friendly as it gets. I would recommend Matrix paint to anyone.
14 lip 2012 · Matrix mixes and labels their own products based on PPG formulations. So, that means anyone that says Matrix is no good says the same for PPG. I have no hate or problems with either from my hands on eperience over the yrs. P.S. I have 5 different clears on my shelf and when applied right they all do what they are supposed to.
1 gru 2009 · I've tried the Nason clears and they are good for panel work. The SPI clear is great for panel or overall work. I like the open time it has so the clear can flow together from the end of one coat to start of the next. Not since DuPont Chromaclear 7500 in the mid nineties have I had a clear work as well.
