The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Alabama, commonly called the Grand Lodge of Alabama, is one of two Masonic grand lodges in the state of Alabama, the other being the predominantly African American Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Alabama.
The History of Prince Hall Free and Accepted Masons. Prince Hall is recognized as the Father of Black Masonry in the United States. He made it possible for us to also be recognized and enjoy all priviliges of Free and Accepted Masonry. Many rumors of the birth of Prince Hall have arisen.
