20 lip 2023 · Panels can be rebuilt if the stators aren't damaged, and with all the DIY'ers on this forum, I'm a little surprised that someone hasn't posted a step-by-step panel rebuild guide (I searched and didn't find one). I would not advise anyone who isn't mechanically inclined to attempt replacing a diaphragm.

29 lis 2018 · For some models of speakers, it may be possible that one or more of the wires that are soldered to the stat panel have become disconnected or the solder connection has been compromised.
10 lut 2012 · I have been reading how panels over time can wear out, and a tech at ML encouraged me to buy replacement Sequel II panels at $1300. I may be able to be a pair of used Ascent speakers for about that price. My Sequel IIs were built in 1989, the Ascents were built starting in 2000.

18 lis 2014 · I close friend of mine gave me his pair of Martin Logan Sequel 2. The last paragrah will tell you why I would love to fix them. They have been working great until recently, when one panel started adding low distorsion to the signal, sounding like static in an AM radio.
