Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals that have washed ashore in Orange County due to an illness or injury, and inspires ocean stewardship through research education and collaboration.
Inside, you can see the seals and sea lions that have been rescued between Seal Beach, south of Long Beach, and San Onofre, on the north end of San Diego County. They are recovering from any number of maladies—from dehydration to shark bites, fish hook injuries to respiratory infections.
