29 lis 2020 · I use Dell Power Manager to manage the thermals on my precision laptops. While it does not allow manual fan control, there are a few thermal presets to choose from. Balanced/Cool/Max Power. Max power will ramp up the fan speed when it is needed.

Yep, just hwinfo. You open the sensor page then click the fan button at the bottom. There you can set a fan curve. What was interesting is that when I set the fans manually they span up to what speed they would go to under full load automatically.

21 sty 2019 · Recently started trying Windows 10 64bit. Under windows the fan sometimes just goes 0 RPM (very low), some diagnostic program don't see the CPU fan, or GPU fan. Sometimes it has shown different reading for CPU fan and GPU fan at very low rpm, like it had two separate fans.
