Mane and Tail long term effects? I started using the Mane and Tail shampoo about 3 months ago. I follow it up with a nice keratin conditioner. I have always had dry and thin hair that doesn’t grow past my shoulders. MNT has really thickened my strands and gave me great volume. But I still need to iron curl my hair to get a shine and a smooth look.
As far as itchy scalp it could come down to either possible build up (which can be a side effect of cowashing) you may need a clarifying treatment such as a Malibu, or it could perhaps be that your hair is not getting dry all the way.
I didn’t have a problem when I used Mane and Tail back in the day. It did make my hair grow quickly as well as caused some thickening which I felt was too much, which is why I stopped using it. Today, I use Monday shampoo and conditioner.
