Established in 1991, Manchester Academy of English is a language school running year round courses for speakers of other languages, and teacher training courses for native and non-native speakers of English. It is fully accredited by the British Council and a member of ARELS/ENGLISHUK.
In the study of English Language Students will be able to: Read a wide range of texts fluently and with good understanding. Read critically and use the knowledge gained from wider reading to inform and improve their own writing. Write effectively and coherently using Standard English appropriately.
The full-time General English Language & Academic Skills course is delivered on campus, with flexible start dates throughout the year. You do not need to be planning to study a university degree.
