14 maj 2013 · From experience I would recommend against having Admin controls that bring up BIOS/MAME settings on the Front of the Control Panel because you WILL end up hitting these buttons during a game. Even if it seems like there is no way you could hit them by accident, you will using a trackball.
With my proof of concept A1U cabinet, before playing each game for the first time, I was looking at images of the real control panel (via LaunchBox) and then setting controls for that specific game accordingly.
23 wrz 2012 · I'm trying to create a 2 player MAME prototype control panel, before I try to do the real deal. I want 6 buttons per player. I have a 60 cm (23.622 inches) in length and 25 cm (9.84252 inches) in height MDF wood panel, so I guess that leaves 30cm (11.811 inches) per player.
I am in the beginning phases of building a stand up Mame cabinet. Currently I am looking at different controls to figure out my budget and availability. The best place I have seen so far is Ultimarc which has a bad site but appears to have good quality stuff.
