tl;dr: Once you reach two items on Malzahar Mid (Malignance and Liandrys), you have almost the exact same effect added to your Ultimate which it already has: A void pool beneath the target, burning them for % max health damage.
Do you consider that I could climb with taking this little damage or should I just play differently. I know it looks like a non issue but I am really wondering if me dying little and taking low damage has a negative impact on my winrate and team.
Malzahar damage can feel underwhelming because it’s DOT and also not very flashy. However, often you will end up with one of the highest damage numbers in the match. Because you aren’t instantly deleting champions with your abilities it can feel off, but once you get used to it you start to realize you hit with a truck mid to late game.
