Black metal bands that use drum machines? I just really love the sound of drum machines so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good bm bands that use them. Anaal Nathrakh, at least their early nasty sounding stuff, has just filthy awesome drum programming. https://youtu.be/RkVCZZ3pORg.
Mare Cognitum is a good example of a modern BM band with good sound using drum programming and having it not "detract" from the music at all.
5 lut 2017 · I'm looking into dwelling bands who can't quite find a drummer and get the more cost effective alternative. This is more of a personal research thing to get inspiration and study the art of drum loops/machines. I know a handful of acts, such as Godflesh and Ministry, but not much more beyond that.
There are a quite lot of bands out there using programmed drums, but they're produced well enough that most people, except for production nerds, don't notice/mind. Using good samples on realistic beats, and humanising the beats (varying the velocity and timing of the samples) will go a long way.
