7 gru 2015 · I tried to create links in this format: <a href="mailto:[email protected]">. But these are not opening up using Outlook's new mail, as it is supposed to. On Chrome, it does nothing. On Firefox, IE & Safari it opens a new blank Chrome Window when I click on the link.
7 paź 2023 · If MailTo links are not opening or working in Microsoft Outlook, you need to set Outlook as the default app for MailTo links.
I am having trouble getting a mailto hyperlink to work correctly from MS Word 2016. When I test the hyperlink to make sure it is working correctly, it opens up my web browser instead of my email program.

13 cze 2024 · If mailto links don’t open for you the way they should, a quick look at the system or browser settings should do the job. In Windows , head to Settings -> Apps -> Default apps. Scroll down and pick “Choose default apps by protocol” from the menu.
