17 maj 2024 · Magnet links can be opened in torrent client software without having to download the actual torrent file. However, sometimes a browser may do nothing when you click on a magnet link. This article contains all the fixes.
Actually you will find that it is a Windows 7 issue with ANSI code pages. The Windows path separator character is ALWAYS 0x5C (ASCII 92) but this is displayed as '/' OR '\' depending upon the operating system character set, if your operating system uses a code page that identifies '/' as 0x2f (ASCII 47) then the resulting path will be incorrect.
26 lis 2014 · There's two ways to add those details. The easy way is to just install a modern torrent client like qbittorrent. The necessary registry stuffs will be created. then you can change the registry path so that it points to Deluge insead of QBittorent. The other way is to manually add the missing items. Copy and paste the following path into the Registry Editor: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet\shell\open\ command
1 mar 2019 · As the registry path was not available on your computer, I suggest you to run the following script and check if it helps. This will change the registry values for magnetic links and make qbittorrent default app for magnetic links.
