12 paź 2020 · As I am a newbie to the magna VF750C, what is the recommended engine oil? I see some to the threads are talking Shell rotella. Why not mobil 1 full synthetic or something similar?
The Magna has a modern water cooled engine as seen by the fact that Honda recommends 10w40 oil changed at 8k / 1 year intervals (whichever comes first). The only special note regarding oil is that Honda dis-recommends the use of energy conserving oils (as they may adversely affect the wet clutch).
30 cze 2015 · A lot of people here will recommend shell rotella. I previously used Castrol motorcycle oil, but plan to switch to the rotella after my engine rebuild.
