4 mar 2021 · Again, this release makes all those (former) promos tournament-legal and fulfills an early promise that eventually all Mage Wars promos would be released in official sets/expansions. Killer Bees was in Academy Druid but it was quickly pointed out that Swarms >> Resilient, meaning Bees (and to a lesser extent, Ants) are a hard-counter to Zombies.

Certainly it is true that we want to broaden the player base with this, but we also want to have a game that gives that Mage Wars "feel". This means some things will be new, but backwards compatibility is a significant part of our discussions.

Mage Wars Arena is a customizable strategy card game by Arcane Wonders, and is the first game in the Mage Wars series. In Mage Wars Arena players take the role of powerful and experienced mages fighting in a gladiator style arena duel.
The Arena and Complete rulebooks now have the new (but not released) expansion and have also been reorganized so that the Arena sections are in order of release. All three files now have bookmarks for each expansion, for easier navigation.
