The 4 Lakes Trail is an easy 6.5 km loop that meanders through creeks, second growth forest and visits four distinct mountain lakes. The trail is a loop and as such can be started either across the street from the entrance to the Alice Lake Campground in the Stump Lake parking or at Alice Lake itself.
We hike as a group every Sunday and know most of the North Shore and beyond trails. The Four Lakes Trail is right up there at the top of our favourite hikes. Easy trails, beautiful forest, sparkling lakes, interesting mushrooms - it has it all. It took us 3 hours, 13,500 steps and 8.5 km - worth every step!
