Extended warranties are all a scam from the start. They are betting that your camera will never cost that much to fix.
25 maj 2011 · An email was sent to this customer which stated that his estimate was approved, attached was an approval letter indicating the approved amount without taxes. The email had also stated that Mack Camera & Video Service was not responsible for any shipping fees or taxes.
4 wrz 2024 · I filed a warranty claim with Mack Cam in November 2023 in reference Samsung refrigerator. The warranty company has yet to fix the warranty on the refrigerator.

I purchased a 5 yr extended warranty from Mack Camera. Back in 2009 my camera broke and couldn't read the memory card, so I sent it in for repairs. It took two months before I got it back.
