18 cze 2022 · You should be able to see your Windows 11 Desktop on the Quest. That's it! From the "Games" tab in Virtual Desktop, you can now launch a Occulus PC VR app, such as the included "First Contact" demonstration, "First Steps" or "Oculus Dream Deck".
Steps to reproduce: (I'm using macOS Monterey 12.4 on an M1 Mac mini.) Create a Windows 11 Virtual Machine in Parallels. I used Parallels Desktop version 17.1.14 (51567). In order to allow the Quest 2 to connect to your VM, we can bridge the network connection.
Quest 3 is my first ever "real" VR headset with goal of replacing my dual monitors with more screens for both my personal (mac) and work (windows) machines. I am using Immersed with 5 displays and it is working flawlessly except some issues with mac but only few times. I will try Virtual Desktop.
3 sie 2020 · I have a 3-4 year old MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt 2 port (but no USB-C). I recently used Bootcamp to install Windows 10 on it with the hope I could play some Steam VR games on the Quest tethered to it. I am unable to find a Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C cable.
11 wrz 2020 · So I have been trying to get my Quest working on my Mac and can't seem to make much progress.... 1. Windows 10 is installed through Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro (2017, Intel Core i7) 2. My built in GPU is a Radeon Pro 560.
Theoretically - Using MacBook Pro M1, I run Parallels, which runs Windows 10, which runs Steam, which runs VR games, and I can connect to it through the Virtual Desktop app on the Oculus Quest 2. How possible is this?
