19 sty 2022 · Figured out the solution! When you lift the right side of the scissor switch, it also lifts the left. While the left side is lifted, you can slide the key (tipped on its side to the left) under the lifted left side. This allows the switch to drop into the clip on the key.
uncheck "mirror displays". drag the white menu bar from the macbook display to the external monitor (reference with screenshots). This makes the external monitor the Primary display. Arrange the blue boxes so that only the corners touch (screenshot provided by Kyle Cronin in posts above).
27 cze 2013 · Command+F1 is the mirror shortcut that works with all Mac keyboards. In order for this shortcut to work you will need an external display of any sort attached, then once hit hit Command+F1 you will see both displays briefly flicker bright blue and suddenly mirroring will be enabled.
