Create a blank disk image for storage. You can create an empty disk image, add data to it, then use it to create disks, CDs, or DVDs. Go to the Disk Utility app on your Mac. If Disk Utility isn’t open, click in the Dock, type Disk Utility in the Search field, then click . Choose File > New Image > Blank Image.
Windows 7 Pro, x64 disc boots fine on Mac Pro. Just delete all existing Mac partition, and create new Windows partitions, and reformat the new partitions. Windows 7 installs and boots as is. Then insert Snow Leopard disc and install Boot Camp drivers.
Re-download the Windows 7 ISO image to use with Parallels. Also re-burn the new ISO image to DVD if you still need a physical disc (for Boot Camp). If this error occurs with a retail DVD try and ask for a replacement or check that your optical drive is in full working order (having tried using a CD/DVD lens cleaner on it first).
