4 kwi 2017 · You can install Win10 on a Late 2011 Macbook Pro. But when you install it in EFI mode, you will have problems with sound - this can't be solved with drivers, as older (pre-2013) Macbook UEFI will simply not expose the sound card interface to Windows.

21 cze 2018 · I've been trying to install Windows 10 on an early 2011 Macbook Pro. It's not officially supported, but I read everywhere it can be done. There are some troubles though. I have successfully installed it alongside MacOS High Sierra actually, and everything works fine except for audio.
It is a known issue that booting Windows UEFI on MacBook Pro 2011 will result in no sound - a flag by Intel HD audio controller in device manager. But in Linux (FreeBSD, etc…) all can see the audio subsystem.
I have a problem with a 15" MacBook Pro (2011, OSX 10.7.5): After being repaired due to a water damage recently, the sound was just working fine. Some days later the audio device in the status bar turned gray and the MacBook didn't play any audio anymore.
