28 sty 2019 · I see that you're having some trouble with the brightness buttons not working on your MacBook Air, but that you're able to adjust the brightness manually. Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard tab > and make sure that "Use F1, F2, etc..." option is unchecked here.

19 lip 2020 · My brightness adjustment keys on my new MacBook Air aren't working at all. All the other fn keys (volume adjustment for example) seem to be working fine. I already went into system preferences and made sure "use as standard function keys" box is unchecked.

Since updating to the macOS 12.2.1 I have lost control of my function keys at the top of my keyboard for brightness, plus I don't even have control of Display brightness in the Menu Bar and Control Centre. 1 lis 2019 · Try to adjust the keyboard brightness manually in Macbook Pro by customizing the Keyboard control strip to have the keys related to Keyboard brightness as mentioned below. (F5, F6, etc function keys did not work for me) Then use this to manually adjust the keyboard backlight brightness.
