16 gru 2007 · I'm not longer getting sound from any headphones, although in System Preferences/Sound the 'Headphones' appears as a device when the headphones are plugged in to the jack. When I remove the headphone mini-plug System Prefs/Sound reverts back to 'Internal speaker.'
Only headphones show up in the sound preferences menu, and internal speakers DO NOT show up at all. There is NO red light illuminated inside the head phone jack. I am using a 15-inch 2016 Macbook Pro (2.6 GHz i7, 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM) running on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (latest version).
Unplug any headphones or external speakers from your Mac. Make sure the cables from the display are connected to the ports on your Mac. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Sound in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
I have no sound from internal speakers or headphone jack at all. I recently purchased a used original Macbook Air 2008 model and fixed a few minor issues: Bad Internal Battery (was toasted), new MagSafe Charger & HD's missing Rubber gasket. Also fixed some dents to external casing.

3 paź 2024 · Fix them by going to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound > Output > select the built-in speakers > move the Output Volume slider to the right > uncheck the box next to Mute. Check for wireless speakers or headphones.
