Unplug any headphones or external speakers from your Mac. Make sure the cables from the display are connected to the ports on your Mac. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Sound in the sidebar.
16 gru 2007 · I'm not longer getting sound from any headphones, although in System Preferences/Sound the 'Headphones' appears as a device when the headphones are plugged in to the jack. When I remove the headphone mini-plug System Prefs/Sound reverts back to 'Internal speaker.'
1 lip 2024 · My Sony headphones are connected to my M1 Macbook Air. But no sound from the Macbook Air plays thru the headphone and the headphone doesn't appear in System Settings>Sound as an output device. I'm running MacOS Sonoma 14.5.
Try Safe Mode. Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac. If that does not help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar. Need more help?
16 lut 2017 · I fixed my MacBook Air without sound (hardware test was negative for problems) by opening it up, unplugging and plugging the left and right speaker cables from the motherboard. This was done following iFixit's speaker repair steps as reference.
