Try holding down the key longer. These keys have a slight delay to prevent an immediate response if they’re pressed accidentally. Press and hold the Media Eject key until the Media Eject icon appears on the screen, and press and hold the Caps Lock key until the key’s indicator light comes on.
15 paź 2010 · On a windows PC, the user can press CTRL-ALT-END to unlock the screen. However, on MAC's without the END button, users can't get out of this unlock screen. We have tried different combinations, but nothing seems to work.
4 lis 2022 · My Air is only a few weeks old and all of a sudden the keyboard stopped working. An external keyboard works (USB-C connection and bluetooth), but the internal keyboard is non-responsive except for the power button. I ran diagnostics and everything reports back okay.
27 wrz 2024 · If your keyboard is not working on MacBook and you’ve previously locked it – unlocking it could be the solution. To unlock your keyboard, make sure you go through all downloaded apps that have a keyboard lock function.
2 sty 2024 · Sadly, there is no way to use a keyboard lock shortcut to lock and unlock the keys on your Mac’s keyboard. Nor is there a dedicated keyboard lock button. Some third-party keyboards do have lock keys, and these may work, in conjunction with the keyboard’s driver software, to lock the keyboard.

12 maj 2022 · We actually opened the Macbook and disconnected the keyboard and trackpad connectors (after disconnecting the battery). After reconnection of cable connectors and the battery, the keyboard was alive again and working fine!
