12 maj 2009 · Mac OS X Update is located in my /Library/Updates, but the Packages folder only contains a 8KB file MacOSXUpd10.5.7-10.5.7.dist. According to Software Update, 19% of the update was downloaded but it is not in /Library/Updates.
6 paź 2022 · It's likely to be in a hidden temp folder, e.g. in /var or /tmp. Updates don't get saved to /Applications; only complete installers. –

9 cze 2022 · Would use the Terminal Command to download the Full Version of Big Sur or Monterey. It would place a new application in the Applications Folder called " Install Big Sur " or " Install Monterey ". Then would Create a Bootable Installer and use that to update or upgrade.
21 lis 2021 · I'm on mac OS 11.5. Last week I wanted to update my xcode command line tools and found this command on the internet. softwareupdate --all --install --force. Update to the xcode command line tools went fine, but this also tried to update my OS version to 11.6.
