   I have recently updated my M1 air to Monterey, and I have encountered a weird issue with my Magic Mouse. basically the touch surface randomly stops working every now and then. While this happens the click and the pointer movements still work fine, but I am no able to access any of the gestures.

   I use MX3 (not S) and it works on my MacBook Pro, Mac Studio and even my Windows Laptop perfectly. Try updating firmware for your mice and macOS if you can. Also, try changing your browser to see if others have same behaviour.

I tried switching the mouse off and on, restarted my Mac, connected the mouse to the Mac with the USB cable to charge it, removed the mouse from the list of bluetooth devices to try and pair it again....but now I am really stuck !
