When watching a video on YouTube (or any other streaming service) – I use mainly Safari, sometimes Chrome, with the same result – when I switch to fullscreen, the video goes fullscreen in a new "Space" (virtual screen).

I’m new the Mac OS(M1 chip) and I’ve notice that when ever I’m in full screen for videos a black bar of the top and the bottom of the video remains whenever I put a video in full screen. My Windows computers have never don’t this; I think it’s so weird. Does anyone know how to fix this?

23 cze 2023 · Works fine. But if I click the "zoom to full screen" button in the browser window, it goes to full screen—but on my MacBook Pro's screen. I can't get full screen on the external monitor. This doesn't happen with all feeds, but does with most of them.
29 sie 2023 · I got this nagging issue where when watching full screen video in (I think) any browser, it won't go full screen on an external display. I've tried on an LG 38 inch display, the interface is full screen, but video is scaled down.
