3 kwi 2022 · I am not able to do a full screen on safari for videos on youtube, Netflix, etc. When I click on the full-screen option or F, it says, Click of exit FullScreen. How can I fix this problem?
25 maj 2015 · I found a way how to fix this. First exit full screen mode (control+command+F). Your browser or YouTube should be open in a small window. And then try to put the video on full screen....
4 paź 2023 · If your MacBook is stuck in full-screen mode, you might be able to fix the problem simply by using a keyboard shortcut. Sometimes pressing Esc lets you exit full-screen mode. If that doesn’t work, try using Command + Control + F and check if that helps.
I’m new the Mac OS(M1 chip) and I’ve notice that when ever I’m in full screen for videos a black bar of the top and the bottom of the video remains whenever I put a video in full screen. My Windows computers have never don’t this; I think it’s so weird. Does anyone know how to fix this?

When watching a video on YouTube (or any other streaming service) – I use mainly Safari, sometimes Chrome, with the same result – when I switch to fullscreen, the video goes fullscreen in a new "Space" (virtual screen).
