14 cze 2013 · Try creating an new account and login to it and see if the "Show view options" option is there. Alternatively, you can go to the "Go" menu > hold the "option" key > click on "Library" > "Preferences" > move the file "com.apple.finder.plist" to the Desktop > restart. See if it works.

10 mar 2023 · I rebooted my Mac yesterday to discover that Sidebar (with all my favorite folders) is missing - as too is the 'Create New Folder' on the bottom. I've tried all the obvious options on the menus - without success. Of note, View>Show Sidebar option is grey so I can't select it! (iMac Ventura 13.2.1).
18 lis 2017 · To use these settings for all Finder folders that use this view, click Use as Defaults. The Use as Defaults button does not appear for Columns view. For example, if you set options for Icon view, then click Use as Defaults, all folders that use Icon view appear with the same options.
