According to Mac pro MUAs and teachers, this formula started off as skincare. It’s 80% skincare, has hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil in it, there’s 48 shades and it’s medium buildable coverage. I know a Mac artist and teacher and this looks good in person. Are you gonna try it? I am.
Has anyone tried the new MAC Cosmetics studio fix foundation? I got it two days ago and I freaking HATE IT!!!! I want the old formula and I can't find it anywhere in store! Even Amazon has scrubbed it from their site! Does anyone else feel the same way?
pop_rox_. • 4 yr. ago. although Mac lipsticks are amazing, I haate their eyeshadows. i have the large 15 pan, small 9 pan and a few singles and they are my least favourite eyeshadows I own considering the price! I never reach for/ use them especially as ther are far better products for the same price.
I’m a 32 year old millennial who grew up in the 2000’s when the gold standard of makeup was Mac cosmetics. I use all the trendy brands you can possibly think of: abh, colourpop, fenty, rare beauty, JSC (pre cancellation), but I keep going back to my tried and true staple products from Mac.
Foundations: Mac Face and Body (sheer coverage but they sell it in a 4 oz which is an amazing deal), L’Oréal Pro Glow Concealers: Urban Decay Naked Skin (ulta has a sale on these once a year but they only ever have one of my color lol).

Think of and start with a few products tailored to what you want. If you want more of a “wow” effect, start with mascara, eyeliner, and a lip product (and maybe an eyelash curler). If you’re looking more for skin coverage, start with concealer and a transparent setting power. You can build up your kit from there.
