4 paź 2023 · I ran into the problem that the Ookla Speedtest app would connect to a server, but then not perform the test. It would ultimately give me an error of, "Could not connect to the Internet...". The problem is that the traffic is stopped by the restrictions in Screen Time.
I just found Snail, a simple application to throttle the bandwidth of any app on macOS. It's currently only available in a free beta version but works with macOS 11.1 (the most current version) and works on both Intel and M1 Macs.

I used to get full speed for around 3-4 gb download and then suddenly speed used to drop around 10mbps. Only way to fix this issue was to restart my mac and I have to do this again an again. I always use my mouse connected to bluetooth.

24 kwi 2023 · Here's what finally fixed it for me: Go to System Preferences > Wi-Fi, then click Details on your current Wi-Fi network. Deselect "limit IP address tracking." Internet download speed is now back to 403 Mbps and everything seems like it's back to normal at last. Hope this helps other people who are having issues with Ventura as well!
